CG Weddings was founded by Liam and Alexandra (a.k.a Bee … more about that later!) in 2004. Liam spent the early part of his career in the marines, but always had a desire to capture beautiful images. He went on to study landscape photography at university and upon graduation met his now wife Bee. Bee encouraged Liam to explore other areas of photography and soon both of them became fascinated with, and very good at, wedding photography – Liam behind the camera and Bee the picture editing. They soon established themselves as one of the leading wedding photography companies in the North West, famous for their unique style of wedding photography (a fusion of landscape, documentary, classical, creative and fine art wedding photography). Liam is a fully qualified Licentiate member of the MPA (Master Photographers Association) and the BIPP (British Institute Of Professional Photography) This is the equivalent of a chef having a michelin star. Us as people:
We are Husband and Wife.
We are animal lovers – with two dogs, Dave and Sheila (imagine the looks we get when we’re out for a walk with those names!) and two cats, Stanley and Gosh.
We are young and energetic with a love for the great outdoors.
Our fave things include: Fish and chips in newspaper with minted mushy peas … mmmm, Pinot Noir, Real Ale (Liam), camping, Liam absolutely loves Everton and Bee loves the beginning of the summer (reading between the lines there … the end of the football season!), Prosecco at sunset on the shores of Lake Garda, Eva Cassidy (Bee), U2 (Liam), Ribena (hence Bee’s nickname!) and walking in the countryside with our slightly crazy dogs … The list could go on!
Of course it goes without saying that we have a real passion and joint love of creating amazing images, in particular beautiful wedding photographs for the people we meet.
We would like to think the standard of our photography sells itself, without us waffling on about how good we are at what we do and how many awards we’ve won. First and foremost we are image makers … take a look at our portfolios to see what we mean.
